Morehead Parks & Recreation offers facilities and parks shelters to consider for private parties.

When Reserving a Shelter . . .

If a shelter has been reserved through the Morehead Parks and Recreation Department by an individual, then it will not be available to the public on that date. All shelters are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at no charge, if the shelter has not been reserved. There is a fee to reserve our shelters.
Sign holders are installed at each shelter and signs will be posted daily indicating who has it rented for that day.
Reservation are for the entire day. Shelters/pavilions are not available for partial-day or hourly rental.

Park Place Room

Our Park Place is located within the Don Greenhill City Park. It is just around the corner from out front office door, in the building directly beside the playground. For outdoor activities, there is a baseball field across from the building that you are more than welcome to use as long as no one else as it rented. The facility has men's and womens restrooms, a refrigerator and sink, heating and air conditioning, and hot and cold running water. The facility also has a blacktop parking lot.

Reservation Fee: $75 per Day

Hillview Shelter

Hillview Shelter is also located within the Don Greenhill City Park. It is located past the playground area.
1 shelter with approximately 8-10 picnic tables underneath of it and around it. (Seats 60-70 people)

Small charcoal grill
Playground, horseshoe pits, restrooms are all within walking distance

Creekside Shelter

Creekside Shelter is located within the Don Greenhill City Park as well. It is located before you get to our office building.
1 shelter with approximately 6 picnic tables underneath of it. (Seats 30-40 people)
Small grassy area
Small charcoal grill
Playground and restrooms are within walking distance

Treewalk Pavilion

Fieldview Shelter is located near the Don Greenhill City Park entrance way. It is located on the right before you cross the brigde into the City Park next to our

Horseshoe pits are located near the shelter

Rodburn Park Shelter #1

Rodburn Park is located at 740 Rodburn Hollow Rd, Morehead, KY 40351.
1 shelter with approximately 8 picnic tables underneath of it. (Seats 60-70 people)

Swings are located next to the shelter
Volleyball net is available for set up
Small charcoal grill
Restrooms, water fountain and trash cans are all within walking distance

Rodburn Park Shelter #2

Rodburn Park is located at 740 Rodburn Hollow Rd, Morehead, KY 40351.
1 shelter with approximately 6 picnic tables underneath of it. (Seats 35-50 people)

Restrooms, water fountain and trash cans are near.

Field Rentals

We also have different fields available for rental with the Russell Barker Little League Complex & Zane Collins Community Park. It is $35.00 per team, $40.00 light fee, and $20.00 concession stand fee. The different fields we have are listed below:
